15 Minute Buoysmoke w/ Bracket USCG

15-minute orange smoke man overboard daytime lifebuoy marker. Identical to Light & Smoke Signal – but without the lighting system. This version is required for USA and Japanese flag vessels. One is required to be mounted on each bridge wing in its steel bracket. It can be positioned up to 60m above sea level (SOLAS only requires 30m). Automatically deployed on release of the attached lifebuoy. Can also be manually deployed.

USAGE & TRAINING

When to Use
Day signal which is attached to a 4 Kg life bouy (not supplied)
and used in an emergency to mark the position of a man overboard.

Storage Requirements
Ideally should be stored in the original packaging in a dry, easily accessed
location at ambient temperature.

Disposal
Hazardous item! Dispose of responsibly through approved channels
in accordance with local regulations.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
