"Some Kayaks may need holes drilled to mount." It's built strong to handle a 55 lbs thrust motor. But light so your not adding unneeded weight. This plate gives you two options for the install of your motor. You can use the four holes to mount the quick disconnect plate. Our you have six holes for you to mount with just the main motor mount. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
