The new version of the device is 25% brighter than its predecessor, featuring 14 LEDs, and boasts a 25% longer average run time due to a larger lithium-ion battery. It has a waterproof IP68 rating, tested to remain waterproof even when submerged in nearly five feet of water for 30 minutes. The included magnetic base mount now features a tether attachment for added security, with the tether sold separately. Offering long-range visibility rated up to 3+ miles, the device uses high-powered LEDs that provide 360° lighting, ensuring safety from all directions.

The built-in rare-earth magnet allows for quick attachment to most metallic surfaces and is compatible with all Guardian Angel mounts. A white work light on the front enables hands-free work, while an independently controlled top light adds versatility. The front and rear lights can be controlled independently, and the device works with all Guardian Angel mounts and accessories, including those for sports and other activities. It offers four brightness settings—low, medium, high, and max—and includes an SOS flash pattern that can be activated with a quick button hold, ideal for emergency situations.
